It is with thanksgiving that the Greenpoint congregation has grown, both in numbers and in depth of spirituality. This year, we’re starting a food pantry and free dinner program, developing programs to encourage the arts and will be holding a teach-in on affordable housing.
Financial support from churches and organizations allows for the pastoral staffing that makes this possible. Congregational giving provides for maintenance and upkeep of our building, as well as mission outreach and marketing. For years this congregation had no pastor, few congregants and little funding. Yet, God is calling us to do ambitious things. Our goal is to grow into a self-funded congregation by 2010.
Your gift helps grow this vital ministry in Greenpoint. All gifts are tax-exempt and our 501(c)3 determination letter is through the Reformed Church in America.
